Make Money?

<p>I was wondering if anyone had some good tips on how to go about selling pictures? i'm an amateur but i'd like to know how to get started at making some money. not on people but landscapes mostly.<br>

<p>Landscape photography isn't a great place to make money unless you have some unique pictures.<br>

You can sell prints at art fairs, but your up front investment gets pretty steep and the per-hour payback is very low.<br>

You can submit them to a stock agency, but unless your locations are unique and your quality is outstanding you won't make many sales.<br>

You can submit to magazines (get Photographer's Market to learn about this), but many want either stories to go with or exotic locales.<br>

You can try selling prints to friends, but...<br>

In short, there are lots of ways to make money from landscape photography, but all require the investment of time, travel, and/or money.</p>
