dougscroggins
Hi all! Let me start as always by thanking all of you who take the time to assist me in finding an answer to my question. I have purchased Lumapix's Photoframe program and love building collages from my photo shoots. I have printed a few of the collages at 12x12 inches and would love to know where I can purchase nice matted frames to put them in. Money is a slight issue, in that I don't want to spend more than about $50 for one. (Less than that if I can get one of good quality) I am wondering where you guys look for such items. I have looked for 12x12 frames on the net but the results are all 12x12 and don't allow room for the matting. Should I be looking at purchasing the equipment to matt my own frames to save money in the long run? Again thanks in advance for any input.
larrydressler
Have you checked with any local framing shops? Also if there is a Hobby Lobby in your area they can help at a reasonable price . Remember Local puts money back into your town.

leicaglow
Also try Jerry's Artorama (.com, I think). I just bought a Logan mat cutter and a bunch of other stuff. The mat cutter was about half of everyone else's price, and I noticed they have one of the biggest framing selections I've seen online. Mats, prebuilts, etc., all at really good prices.
tim gray
I've been very happy with Frame Destination. I'm sure they have premade sizes for 12x12 artwork. If not, or if you don't like the premade sizes, you can get a custom size - it only costs another $2 for the mat cutting setup fee.

http://www.framedestination.com/

josephine_myrna
Have you tried the 12x12 white picture art to frames? These are the best frames that I purchased till now. I think you should go for the 12 x 12 white picture frames instead of 12x12 matted frames.
Here are the source URLs from where you can purchase these awesome frames:
https://www.etsy.com/market/12x12_frame
http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/dap_10151_10104_DAP_Shop+Internationally+with+Sears?countryCd=IN
http://www.arttoframe.com/12x12_picture_frames/1
http://www.cb2.com/walnut-12x12-box-picture-frame/s229346
Let me know if these links are useful.
Cheers
Josephine
