don_e
If that's Putin, he's got good hair and a nice cut. Looking at the pics in his autobiography, he had less hair in 1985 (and not so nice a 'do). Putin has always looked like Putin, even as a little boy.

t_nu_tamm
It's Zenit, rangefinders were out of fashion in 80's in SU. Zenit was the best camera money could buy, and Praktica was a dream...
john_shriver
Russian co-worker of mine doubts that's Putin, he says it's a very common "face" in Russia.
User_4525289
He is no Putin. Putin was in Germany at the moment. The camera is not Zorki, it may be Zenit but this charachter also has a Sverdlovsk 4 spot-meter around his neck, good one. They are still accutate today.
funkag
It just doesn't look like it has much of a prism on it - the black on the front could be the Zorki 5 or 6 script or could be a selenium meter (but then why the extra meter?). All of my students have decided that Putin looks like Daniel Craig (the current 007), which is ironic considering that the Bond franchise has never really recovered from the fall of communism.....
Robin Smith
Looks like a Zenit(h) E, but as Greg says: why the extra meter? Probably because the one in the camera doesn't work. It's a common "Russian face", I agree with Kozma.
Robin Smith

Alex_Es
It is a Zenit B with a 50/3.5 Industrar lens in a half case. The camera does not have strap eyelets.
