john_h.1 Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009
How can anyone provide you with appropriate language stating what the client's rights are when you have not even told us which rights you are conferring?

Wouldn't you use langauge derived from the terms of your contract(s) since that is what governs what their rights are? The terms are the agreement you made with them at the time the bargain was struck. You should already have the essential langauge already. If you don't have written contracts, you need to back up and have one drafted or reviewed by an attorney.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charles_Webster Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009
There's probably some suitable examples in John Harrington's book "Best Business Practices for Photographers" or in the ASMP "Professional Business Practices for Photographers" book. Both are available from Amazon or your local library.

<Chas>
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
