d._david_young
hello slide shooters: (this is not a film v. digital question)still love the KR 64 look and velvia. problem is, short of sending the slides to the mainland (continental US) to process E6 there are hardly or no labs in Honolulu doing excellent developing now that Greg at lightwaves (not an arguement on his quality) no longer in business. any one in Hawaii in same boat; any good suggestions? (do not want to process own E6-already did it before). thanks!
colincross
Sigh... I gave up on film(in Honolulu) because of the lack of labs.. I can't really give a recommendation, but some people swear by the cheesy portrait place in Pearlridge. Like I said... That's NOT a recommendation, just something that might be worth looking into. If you do, let me know!
patrick_mont
Is there a certain reason that you don't want to mail order?
d._david_young
actually called Rainbow Photo Video on Keeamoku yesterday and they DO do E-6 with a machine once a day except Sundays! "Is there a certain reason that you don't want to mail order?" willing to try it if it is reasonable.
patrick_mont
The mail order places that come to mind for me are: Dale Labs: Dalelabs.com (They have mailers that you can request) Dwayne's Photo: dwaynesphoto.com (You have to mail the film in yourself) ABC Photo Lab: abcphotolab.com (They have mailers that you can request) I have had good luck with all of these labs so far. They are worth a try if you don't have good luck with that place you found
