I took 'pics' of my 'chevy' with my 'bronnie' because I don't have a 'hassey'. Then I went to 'BK' because 'KFC' costs 'bank'. AFAIK, that's 'OK', but 'YMMV.'

Fanboy

 

1. A person who is completely loyal to a game or company reguardless of if they suck or not.

Since digital photography has become popular, I've seen fewer people using the phrase "tranny" (or some variation

thereof) to describe transparencies. Thank goodness.

It's silly, except when talking about hasselblads since no-one can be bothered to pronounce the whole name twice in one conversation...

If you want to be cured once and for all for using silly shortcut nicknames, just sit through a couple of Rachel Ray's shows, and try not to barf hearing about her constantly using the term "sammies". (My father, who is hard of hearing and just lost his hearing aid, has the t.v. cranked up loud in the mornings, making it difficult to tune out the stupidity blaring forth.)
