MichaelChang
Have you seen the wabble test?
dan_brown4
Was the audio messed up on purpose? They both suck. BTW, what is an "HVX"?
leicaglow
Yeah, they are both lightyears behind the new canon 5DII video (although that didn't demonstrate lock or wabble).
tim_knight
For the first Nikon DSLR with video I am impressed. If it becomes popular I am sure Nikon will make improvements for a better quality video.
elliot1
Panasonic HVX200 I think adding basic video is a good idea for times when you want to record video and don't have a video camera available. Keep in mind that video cameras are so inexpensive and small now that you can get HD video in a pocket size digital recorder for about $150 and get better utility out of it. There are already video cameras that can extract high resolution still images at 6mp or better at 30 or more FPS. eric_arnold
i'd wait to see what Red has to offer with their upcoming 2009 products, if i was really interested in still/video combos. the d90's approach is gimmicky and extremely limited. it seems like it was just thrown out there to claim 'first'. no doubt, later models will make better use of this feature.
