joe_rych
Hey has anyones used this monolight? I was thinking about picking up a few of these to do some 4 corners lighting at a reception. Adding to my lighting is the next upgrade my equipment needs. If you have used these, how did they work out for you? are they atrong enough? How is service and support from normans? I was considering these agianst the alien bees and the whitelightnings but the normans can come with the built in PW. Any comments appriciated, Thanks
hjoseph7
All I can say is that the Normans are known for their durability and concistency and No I don't own one. They are a little bit too pricey for me. As far as Support, I think you would be better off with Paul C Buff and company.
btmuir
I have shot with 2 of the ML600 non R versions. I've had no problems with reliability at all. Variable power over a 5 stop range in 1/10 stop intervals. Norman is owned by a conglomerate now and there are plenty of people that work on them I just don't know what the deal is with warranty service. Sure there is warranty service but I'd check before I invest in them.
