dandem
Josh, please can you try answer this for me. Last week you had mentioned that Thursday evenings and Friday morning the site is slow due to backing up. I fully understand that. However, the site is still very slow. Do you think this is a problem on my side (although I do not battle with other sites) or is it maybe the sheer size of the PN site and the the high demand? Thanks, Lawrence
sattler123
I have the same problem - it is on PN's side. Josh knows about the problem and is working on it - give it some time.
joshroot
The site is slow? I hadn't noticed. Seriously though, I know this sucks. It's not like I'm sitting next to the server myself. I live on the west coast and I am on photo.net more than almost anyone else. Any time the site is running slow, I have to deal with it also. Just bear with me for a few more weeks. I'm doing the best I can to get this problem solved. It's a complicated problem with multiple different causes. Multiple causes that annoyingly have all dropped into my lap at once. But the guys who solve this kind of stuff are very good at their jobs, the plan that they are executing isn't just a stop-gap fix, and I trust that everything will be back performing the way it should. We just have to wait a bit longer.
