grain
Does anyone but me have trouble shopping with Freestyle on line? I'm on the East coast and every time I log onto the site and attempt to go anywhere but the main page to look at stuff it stops loading and times out. Is this just because I'm so far away or does their server stink? Please try it out and let me know. https://www.freestylephoto.biz/sc_main.php
Matt Laur
Assuming this isn't a very subtle bit of guerilla marketing...

Works fine from where I'm sitting. Are you blocking cookies? Blocking referrer strings? I noticed you sent a link that was in SSL (secure) mode, which shouldn't be necessary when simply visiting the site. lex_jenkins
Check your browser settings. I typically use Firefox but sometimes have to open an Internet Explorer emulation tab to access features on some sites. Haven't accessed Freestyle for awhile but when I did it worked fine with Firefox.
keithdunlop
You could always just call them on the phone. Freestyle is still a great little supply store in the Hollywood region of L.A. and the folks are very helpful. Ordering over the phone is super easy. Matthew Currie
I was browsing there just yesterday, and had no trouble with Firefox.
leicaglow
I just completed an order a few days ago using Firefox without any problems. I can't believe how fast I get stuff. I also like that they carry so much film.
d_s31
I don't have a problem either and I use Firefox and I'm on the East coast.
First, are you on dial-up or have a very slow broadband connection?
Have a bunch of RSS feeds giving you news, stock quotes, etc...?
Or, are you constantly looking at photos or movies such as clips on Youtube?
Have you done a virus or adware check on your computer lately?
All the above and then some will suck up bandwidth and make a connection time out.
There are many more reasons why what you're experiencing can happen. I just wanted to give you an idea on where to start.
grain
Hmm. Nope, none of that, and using Safari mostly, I have same issue with firefox though. Nothing nefarious suspected, I just needed to make an order. Thanks all. A
