thomas_taylor2
Hi all, What's a good starting time for developing 120 and 4x5 Fuji Acros in Xtol 1:3 @ 68F? The DigitalTruth tables show 14 minutes for 135 but are blank for 120 and 4x5? Any experience with these two films in Xtol 1:3?? Thanks, Thomas
thirteenthumbs
I find that the 135 times for Xtol are good for small tank developing reguardless of film size. If tray developing 4x5 it may be a good starting point. For rotary processing reduce the time by 15% to 20%. I process 4x5 in Jobo 2500 series tanks with reels by inversion (one reel only), on the Jobo manual roller base (most of the time), and Belser motor base.
