I have NIkon and a Hassel camera , any idea ? Thanks for your help // spenaloza@yahoo.com
Charles_Webster
B & H Camera has a Used Equipment department. KEH.com specializes in used equipment. Photo.net has a Buy & Sell forum. You might try EBay, but many of the transactions there are scams. <Chas>
Ed_Ingold
The best way is "two" ways. You usually get a better price selling equipment at auction (e.g., EBay). Many times, for premium equipment (e.g., Hasselblad), EBay sales equal or exceed prices you'd pay at KEH. KEH and BH offer considerably less than the price they will ultimately charge (neither intentionally qualify as a "non-profit" organization). Secondly, the condition of your equipment is usually less than any sentimental notions you may harbor. Of course gettng a "good price" on EBay and getting paid are two different things :-) Consequently, I prefer to buy equipment at KEH or BH. The prices are commensurate with the going market, and the ratings are conservative and reliable. In case of trouble, both are store front busineses, with real phone numbers, real web sites and real people on the other end. The few disputes I've had were solved quickly and to my satisfaction.
