kaiyen Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 As far as people can tell, the FF one was made by Nikon. This would be the first one they've made since the one in the D2h. The one in the D300 is by Sony, though oddly enough it's not quite the same as any of the other Sony ones. jb17kx Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 AFAIK the D300's is a new Sony one that will spread around sooner. As to the D3, I was always under the impression that Nikon couldn't manufacture their own sensors. The D2H had a CMOS designed by Nikon but manufactured by Sony (most likely with Nikon equipment), and the same probably goes for the D3. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
