matthias_st._john1
Hello everyone, I recently thought up a fun project that I am about to undertake using toy cameras and expired 620 film, both color and black and white, to get odd effects. I have a film tank but I have not yet gotten the chemicals for the processing. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for what chemicals to get since I am wokring with old outdated film. The films dates range from 1948 to 1989. Thankyou Matthias St. John
yann1
Try to get in touch with Gene M, who seems to be an expert in this kind of things.
robert_meyer3
I processed some old verichrome a couple of years ago. I got much less fog using Diafine than using D-76. Anti-fog pills (from Kodak) didn't help.
larrydressler
That is intersting Robert. I find that though Diafine is a wonderful developer it increases base cosmic for in older films for me. HC-110 Dil B and H seem to reduce it .. though in H it is more than B. I have used Diafine with older slow speed films with no problem ISO25-62. Larry
