Wing-Lynch aka Ross Products? Still in business???

Recommended Posts

I've been trying for days to contact both Ross Products and each of

the Wing-Lynch dealers that are listed on their website, and all I get

are answering machines, and no one has returned a call.

I've been considering purchasing a Wing-Lynch processor, but am

becoming a little apprehensive. If no one exists out there anymore for

parts or repairs, who'd want one? Have none of those people heard

about call forwarding, or cell phones? What's going on? Anybody got

any ideas?

No one is returning your calls not because they are not interested or rude, but just because the industry is de facto shutting down as a whole.

Imagine the response you will get in a year if you do buy it!

See my previous posts on wing-lynch & non only mechanical or easily repairable processing equipment.

Films processing equipments look like great deals these days...

hmm..well, they were still in business last year--we ordered some trough dams and other

odds & ends for our machine from them around the end of the summer. The WL machines

are pretty user friendly, have little to go wrong on them as far as moving parts go. our

machine is probably 20 yrs old and although it has been rebuilt, that was a good ten years

ago. The only things we have to routinely replace are the trough dams and the seals for

the tanks.

I'm not overly worried if the company disappears, because there are plenty of parts

machines available for one thing, and gthe processors afren't exactly over-engineered

either. Most of the spare parts can be gotten locally from other sources....unlike some

other processors...
