kelly_flanigan1
Naugas pelts were once used for camera cases; unil the nauga population radically dropped. Save the naugas was a movement long ago. <br><br><I><A HREF="http://www.naugahyde.com/history.html">"Until the early 1900's Naugas? were hunted to near extinction in many parts of the world. Even in America, Nauga hunts were a common occurrence well into the 1800's. It was only after widespread newspaper reports of hunters aboard moving trains shooting Naugas for sport and leaving untold thousands dead and dying along the railroad tracks that public outrage brought an end to the slaughter."</I></A>
dave_mueller
1) If we're not supposed to eat animals, why are they made out of meat? 2) I have a vegetarian friend who won't wear leather because it required killing the cattle. I asked her what she thought happened to all of the skins from the cows that went into fast food hamburgers. I suggested that using as much as possible of the animal was a good thing. And she decided to ignore the source of gelatin in film...
mikeseb
If only I'd know eating animals was bad, I'd not have gone to the trouble of climbing to the top of the food chain. Good Lord.
melvin_bramley
Eggs, Hash Browns & HP5 makes a wonderful breakfast! Just don't push the HP5 too much.
jerry_friedman
There is nothing wrong with vegetarianism just as there is nothing wrong with kinky sex. Personally, I never eat film. Now, eating people, that's different....
melvin_bramley
Does anyone know the nutrition value of HP5 compared to slower films such as Pan F? As to the kinky sex statement....I'm not going there!
bill_thorlin
Am I to understand that vegetarianism and kinky sex are bedfellows ? Could be the best argument I have yet seen for vegetarianism - what about veganism ?
lex_jenkins
I sit in a genuine Nauga covered chair while playing Carnivores. I'm pretty sure one of those critters is the ancestor of the modern Nauga. The irony is as delicious as the Nauga itself. http://www.naugahyde.com/history.html
gabe1
How did this discussion go from the contents of film emulsions to eating vegetarians?

robert_asumendi
Bill: Of course vegan living is connected to kinky sex; vegan men almost never become impotent! Who says looks and brains don't go together... this model has obviously spent more time thinking about these issues than a lot of the commenters here. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3251419433163515470
