Al Kaplan Survived

Al called to say that he survived the hurricane, which came directly

over his house. But he has no electricity to resume life on the

Forum. Hopefully he has enough light to shoot with his revived CL.

I'm glad that Al is OK. I am worried for my family. Hopefully, we will not get another hurricane in Pensacola. It si too tiring to keep on leaving the area and then return afterwards. This time, I will stick it out here.

Al's got a battery-free M2 and a Weston Master meter, he don't need no stinkin' electricity : )

Michael, the N. Miami Starbucks that he goes to does have a WiFi connection, but unless it works with the plate in Al's head, he ain't gonna be usin' it.

 

He just souped some 15mm pics from my visit to that Starbucks, but when he lost power he couldn't print and send them up here. There's a few of Al, my girlfriend, me and some city councilman who's younger than any of us.

Actually, his face was removed during the hurricane, he was trying to lift his head above it so he could have a smoke....how bad is that...the smoke.

 

Brad Pitt was trying to do the same thing while putting his makeup on.

you see.... the aspirin and the 90mm f/2 ASPH lens worked. Al is

back to normal!

I'm back, but after well over 24 hours without my fix from Starbucks I'll never be normal again! So far 3 post hurricane doses haven't been enough.
