alkos
http://www.photosig.com/articles/1461/article I've tried 3200 and still prefer xtol for pushing :) cheers alkos http://pad.go.pl
chris_waller
As a rule of thumb increase development time by 1/3 per stop uprating, e.g. if the dev time at 400 is 6 minutes, then inrease by 1/3 to 8 minutes, then a further 1/3 to 10.5-11 minutes for two stops. Having said that, Rodinal is not ideal for pushing. Microphen is a good speed developer, but I use Ilford PQ Universal at 1+6 dilution, 20 C, for 5.5 minutes for a 2-stop push. jason_b.
I could never get Rodinal + Tri-X up above 640. There just insn't enough shadow speed. Xtol 1:2 is great, or D76 Stock is still the king.
kaiyen
Yes, contrast goes up, grain is wild, and you don't get the shadow detail. BUt it's got a look worth trying. Rodinal EI 1600 1+50 22:00 60s initial, 10s every 3 minutes allan
