Street & Documentary: China

Reading a recent thread on a photographer in Hong Kong made me realise

my terrible ignorance about photographers based in Hong Kong / China.

There was a great series of shows here in New York last year at ICP,

Asia Society etc, but I failed to go through them thoroughly. If

anyone could point me to some street / documentary photographers in

China / Hong Kong, it would be truly appreciated. Below are the few

yeah Takaaki, Zhou Mi (Dancing Minds.........great web name), me and probably your undisclosed friend met him in the NYC subway a while back........then we saw his website later.......wish it had been the other way round....

Some interesting work (some of it from China) can be found at this photoblog. It's mostly people photography done in a somewhat documentary style. Worth a look.

For what its worth I have a lot of China Street and Doco images on this site. ...and literally have just returned this evening after another 2 weeks shooting in China.
