35mm Tri-X in DD-X 1:8. Enough developer for 1 roll tank?

I want to try a single roll of 35mm Tri-X in DD-X diluted to 1:8

instead of the usual 1:4. I have a single roll tank. Will there be

enough active developer at this dilution to work well? Any time

recommendations? The massive development chart doesn't have a listing

for 35mm shot at 400. Thanks.

Ilford suggests using 1+9 for greater economy, and 35ml is enough. So 1+8 should work as well.

 

As for the time, I'd double increase 10% on that time listed for 320 as a start.
