lacy_dillard
That's a very good point, but I actually haven't had many problems with dust. My classmates aren't so lucky, but my negatives have been quite clean. Maybe that has more to do with anal storage and diligent cleaning before printing than it does with the darkroom. But yes .. crappy chemicals, decent film dryer? Oh .. and yes I'm aware that 35mm isn't the standard for architectual work. Somehow my B+W II course is more like a high-school photography class than I thought it would be ;)
ivan_dzo
I wouldn't recommend anal storage as a way to keep your films clean!
Mike Gammill
Lacy- If the darkroom attendant is as thick as he sounds I'll bet you won't have much trouble slipping in another developer. Stick with us at Photo.net: You'll be running the place by end of semester.
stefan heymann
As stated before, Ilfotec HC is an Ilford clone of Kodak HC-110. So Ilfotec HC 1+119 should give the same results as HC-110 dilution "G". The development times should also be the same. Everytime I comapare HC-110 times with HC times, they're the same. BTW: Ilfotec LC29 is HC in a 1+0,6 dilution.
