Summer Jobs at The Workshops in Maine

Has anyone ever done a summer job at The Workshops in Maine? I'm

planning on going up there at the end of the month to interview with

them. It's either that or stay in Boston over the summer and maybe

take a class at NESOP.

 

I'm interested if anyone ever did this, and if they got anything out

of it. I'm not sure if they tend to be just straight jobs, or if you

get experience working there.

to working for Arthur Meyerson to a very nice career on his own.

 

It is like all high level starting internships 7 apprenticeships ; a lot of what you'll get out of

it is hugely dependent on what you put into it. It is also hard work. You can make a lot of

connections get exposed to a lot of new (to you) ideas and meet some pretty intersting

people. Or it could just be a low paying summer job.

I am also going up to Maine for their interviews. It'll be interesting to check the place out. I wonder how many of the jobs are already alloted to their Masters and Degree students that are already up there?

I just posted another thread on the same topic. Except I'm looking to potentially join the staff during this summer, of 2006. And it seems like you started this thread in 2005.

 

If you wound up working there, I would Love to hear about your experience on staff? What was it like?
