bill_schmidt
I normally process my own B&W but I tried a roll of XP2. Can anyone recommend a C41 lab on Long Island (NY) that takes care about what it does and will comply when I ask that the film be cut into strips of 6? ronald_moravec1
Strips of 6. You are asking too much! You are lucky if they don`t scratch them. Or under replenish the developer or fix. Tetinol press kit and a Jobo is the way to go or send to a commercial lab.

jimvanson
Check your yellow pages and then phone a couple of the labs that are listed. Ask them if they are running a dip & dunk line (as opposed to a roller processor) and ask them if they'll cut your negs to the length you want (mine will -- they'll even sleeve the negs in a Print-File I bring them).
If you're really concerned you can ask them how often they run control or test strips -- once a day is alright, twice a day is great, every hour is luxury.
And I will add you often end up paying a premium for a good labs work. Say 50 to 100 percent more then your corner kiosk.
