r.t. dowling
After being told by Fuji tech support that NPS and NPC were *not*being discontinued (contrary to what is written on Fuji's Photokinasite), I sent them this: "Does that mean that Fujifilm will be manufacturing NPS/NPC *and*160S/160C?" --- And this was their response: Dear R.T. Dowling:Thank you for contacting Fujifilm, USA. Please allow us to assist you. Please be advised that Fujifilm USA is not discontinuing our NPS/NPCfilm and replacing it with 160S/160C. The website that you receivethis information from, does not pertain to Fuji Photo Film, USA. Thank you for your interest in Fujifilm products. rich815
I guess we just need to relax and wait and see what happens. Why stress over speculation of the complete unknown? I do not see anything in that reply that says 160S and 160C may not come to USA.

phule
If not, maybe a .jp photo.net user could throw a bunch up on ebay? :)
tomw
Even if not officially distributed in the U.S., I suspect that it will be available through B&H and other mail order houses.
wickedmartini
The announcement that you read was a release from Photokina in Germany. Keep in mind that it is standard practice for many companies to market similar prodcuts in other countries under different names. mdd
