I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT THE YEARS THAT ZONE V1 STUDIOS WERE IN
Not sure. I remember reading about them back in the late 1980's. Not sure when they went out of business either, or whether their elitism had something to do with it.
You might find this interesting:
I have the book, "Zone VI Workshop," by Fred Picker. My copy is copyrighted 1974, so we know Zone VI has been around at least that long.
I purchased one of their Archival print Washers a long time ago, although I think it was actually manufactured by Oriental. I still have that washer although it's patched up a little. I still have a bunch of their news letters also, all packed up in a nice little gray binder.
Zone IV was aquired by Calumet some years ago. I think all the cool Zone IV things are still for sale there.
