"Use it with all modern flatbed scanners with a backlight unit." - Except that such scanner technology is no longer 'modern', and at least a decade old. With many such scanners having little or no driver support on current operating systems. There's also the small lie about maintaining film flatness. Any holder that reveals the sprocket-hole area of 35mm film isn't going to hold the film flat. A sheet of anti-newton glass is probably cheaper and provides better flatness.... but dustier. glen_h Posted March 19, 2018 Share Posted March 19, 2018 A holder could have a thin enough lip to hold the film down, but still reveal the writing, though I don't know of any.
