Old photobook found

I found an album of old photos, some are tintypes but most aren't. It has a G.

Hannaman Photographer from Shelbyville, Illinois.

 

I would like to (approximately) date these. Any clues how this could be done?

 

 

I did a google search with no luck, but the album does state negatives kept

only for one year at a 25cent cost.<div></div>

This one is not a tintype<div></div>

Looking at the style of the clothing I would say early 20th century (something like 1905 or so).

Looks more like mid to late 19th century to me.....

I haven't a clue but they sure are cool images! I couldn't help wondering what the subjects would think about how they're being viewed here today. ;-)

You may also go contact the Chicago Institute of Arts. About 4 years ago they had a show of Dergio and tin types (At least Dergio)(And yes, I don't know how to spell that). Being from a similar geographic region, they may have a way for you to find out, or know someone who could help.
