john_m24
Some poor Instamatic 104 photos from April 1971. Recognize anything? Thank you.
paul ron
looking down that street you can see a bridge... looks like the brooklyn bridge but i cant see the crown to be certain. by looking at the building styles, it seems more like mid town and maybe the queens boro bridge. The more you say, the less people listen.
AlanKlein
The one with the bridge seems to be taken in the downtown area - Chinatown or the financial district. Narrow winding cobblestone streets aren't located in midtown. Also the shot appears to have been taken under an underpass, maybe an approach to another bridge. Plus there are no overheads on Wall Street. Flickr gallery: https://www.flickr.com/photos/alanklein2000/albums
john_sevigny2
Looks like somewhere in downtown Brooklyn. That may or may not be an elevated train track. This might be a street a block or two off Atlantic Avenue near Fulton.
James G. Dainis
That is lower Manhatan. The tallest building in Brooklyn back then was the Williamsburg Bank building with no other skyscrapers around it. No streets faced directly into the Brooklyn Bridge but from the angle I would say that photo was taken around the Fulton street/ Williams street area. . 1 James G.
