MathewDH
I have been outfitting a very vintage Kodak camera to do some shooting with. It takes 620 film so I converted some 120 film spools to be the recieving spools, thus avoiding to have to respool 120 film. Then added the normal #13 Portrait Filter a couple years ago but recently obtained the vastly scarcer #13 Diffusion Portait Filter. I tend to be a purist and buy the original bits that companies sold as accessories and obtained a Kodak #1 Adjustable Lens Hood.

One thing I noticed in the available filters for it was a #13 Pictorial Diffusion Disc. Does anyone have one of these so I can see what it looks like by posting a photo of it?

A second question I have, will the current 120 film have numbers on the paper back that will line up with the red hole on the back?

CHEERS...Mathew

rick_drawbridge
Mathew, I can't find a "#13" indicated anywhere, but here's a very early Kodak Pictorial Diffusion Disk. Not the easiest thing to photograph, but it might give you some idea.

john_shriver
I have a Series VI Kodak Pictorial Diffusion Disk, and it has about 5 concentric circular ribs cast into the glass.
MathewDH
Hi everyone, thanks for the replies. My last message never showed up.

But, I have found out the difference in the discs. The Pictorial Diffusion Disk alters the standard image taken by the camera. The Portrait Diffusion Disk has a 3/4 enlargement factor besides having the diffusion effect on an image.

It took two years to find a #13 Portrait Diffusion Disk. I hope it if faster for a #13 Pictorial Diffusion Disk.

The hunt is on.
