Henri Cartier-Bresson at the SF MOMA

<p>For anyone living in the Bay Area, there is a really excellent Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition at the SF MOMA until January 30, 2011. I went this past weekend and there were no lines. Highly recommended if you're a fan of his work.</p>

<p>Yes, it's a great show. I was familiar with some of H C-B's work, but hadn't ever seen the Russia material for Life Magazine, nor many of his other less famous pictures.</p>

While at SFMOMA, be sure and see the other photo exhibition there, Exposed - Voyeurism, Surveillance, and the Camera Since

1870.

 

Having not much of an opinion one way or another on the HCB show, I saw the above show several times.

Much more interesting for me...

<p>HCB's 2010 exhibit at NYC MOMA had ~300 images, including many not published in his books.<br>
