mattwelsh Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011
For anyone living in the Bay Area, there is a really excellent Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibition at the SF MOMA until January 30, 2011. I went this past weekend and there were no lines. Highly recommended if you're a fan of his work.

-Matt
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rossb Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011
Thanks for the tip. I believe I can make it out there this weekend. I think I will invite my daughter in Berkely and see if she will go with me.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charles_Webster Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011
Yes, it's a great show. I was familiar with some of H C-B's work, but hadn't ever seen the Russia material for Life Magazine, nor many of his other less famous pictures.

+1 for Highly Recommended

<Chas>
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brad_ Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 While at SFMOMA, be sure and see the other photo exhibition there, Exposed - Voyeurism, Surveillance, and the Camera Since 1870. Having not much of an opinion one way or another on the HCB show, I saw the above show several times. Much more interesting for me... www.citysnaps.net Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
