chuck_foreman1
Well the over-exposure curse seems to be waning with my fresh developer. I can't seriously believe the developer was wreaking havoc as the exposures were clearly overexposed. New chemicals.. new chances!! I don'T like being bogged down with equipment, so the one camera, one lens is my de rigueur du jour . The first set is from The Werra III and the lovely 35mm Flektogon. There is little to no post processing this is Agfa APX1/Kentmere in D76 1:1 View to RheinUfer Düsseldor - Werra View to DreiScheibe Bldg. - Werra Neptune Fountain, Kaufhof Dept. Rick_van_Nooij
10 years ago I took this photo of Francis Turner in Hasselt (Belgium). He was an officer with the 17th Combat Engineers Battalion attached to the 2nd US Armored Division during World War 2. Here he poses with members of my living history group who re-enact the same unit. Francis is a 100 years old this year and still has bright as ever. Looking forward to meeting him again in September. Leica IIIc, with Summar, if I recall correctly.
arthur_mcculloch2
I'm a blow in to this forum (largely leica and rangefinders, with a flash trip to portraits - I'm interested in people). There are good shots here: Mike Gammill - good photographs; Xicara de cafe, I really like your third post. Its good. And James Bryant, your magnolia shots are radiant - were they studio? How did you do them? So, a couple of shots from a recently acquired hasselblad 500 c/m, 150 sonnar, hp5 developed in ilfosol 3, scanned on an epson flatbed. I've put the camera in for a CLA earlier today. The shots are of barflys. I grow weary of the dust for film, despite doing it all in my 'ensuite' with steam. Dust. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1) So the shots:

arthur_mcculloch2
They are exceptionally good, James Bryant. Bravo. You may not be familiar with the photos of Max Dupain, an australian. You echo that. Tell me your development technique - but maybe next post. Bravo. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)

Tell me your development technique - but maybe next post. Bravo. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1) The film was developed by Ilford Lab in San Clemente, California. The film was Kodak 400TX that has a good tone range and is forgiving of errors. I used curves in photoshop to darken the background.
Mike Gammill
Our thread is off to a good start with some high quality images. I look forward to seeing more over the next few days. I hope to process and scan some more. Currently I'm almost finished with a roll of Plus-X in my MInolta SRT 101.
rick_drawbridge
The winter solstice occurred early this morning, so now the long shadows I'm fond of will begin to shorten again. Still, I got out last week with a Pentax Super A with a 35-70mm SMC Pentax A f/4 lens, and made the most of a sunny afternoon. The film was Kentmere 100 developed in PMK Pyro, scanned on an Epson V700 scanner using the native Epson software, for a change.
