Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you want from any film camera. I'll start with some images from a roll of Tri-X that I processed and scanned earlier in the week.

Great beginning to our new thread, everyone.

royfisher- those 70's slides have held up quite well. During those years I was a broke college student although since my family owned a camera shop I could borrow display models when I wanted to. I shot a lot of E4 Fujichrome, Kodachrome 64, and High Speed Ektachrome. I must scan some of my older images when I have time.

Mike, the Kodachromes have held up really well, but some of the Ektachromes not as well, even some of the ones processed by Kodak. In that first image (Ektachrome) there are some visible lines toward the upper left that look like something growing in the emulsion--I don't recall seeing that in any of the Kodachromes. Some of the non-Kodak-processed Ektachromes are badly faded. Kodachrome 25 was my favorite, there just wasn't anything else like it.
