Niels - NHSN
This week-end I will exercise my Spotmatic SP with a 28mm Super-Multi-Coated Takumar. It has been a while for this combo. 5 Niels
carbon_dragon
Contax offered an infrared remote for the RTS. At the family camera shop we never stocked the RTS, but the lesser expensive 137 and 139 (which had covering issues). The wireless remote wouldn't fit those two without an adapter. However it did fit and worked fine with the Yashica FR. I remember attaching the wireless receiver to the FR and and a bright lightning flash would trip the shutter. I don't know, you could almost see that as an advantage! Lightning photos. I used/use a wired remote. It's a bit awkward though. It's a shame the bodies are mostly unrepairable these days. I have a 1 and a 2 that are just paperweights at this point.
Mike Gammill
The Yashica FR (manual match diode metering) is hard to find these days. The FR-1 (aperture priority and manual mode) and FR-II (aperture priority only) seem more plentiful. Still wondering about how close to SRT CLC the metering on the HiMatic 7 is. I don't see much difference in meter reading when switching from horizontal to vertical, but the high percentage of properly exposed frames on a roll of Kentmere 100 at least shows the metering to work well under varied light conditions. As much as I like my Konica Auto S2 and S1.6, I think I'm getting more correct exposures on automatic with the 7S. I'll post from latest 7S roll on the weekly film camera thread on Thursday.

Fiddlefye
Canon 7 loaded with HP5 and Nikon FE with PanF. Should do the trick.
Niels - NHSN
My Rolleiflex Automat from 1937 is still going strong, and I'll take it for a workout this weekend. The Tessar lens is uncoated so I use a yellow filter to add a little extra contrast. Normally I prefer Ilford HP5 but I found an expired roll of Kodak Tri-X that I wanted to use before I forget about it again. 5 Niels
Mike Gammill
Next camera I plan to load I would call a "hybrid classic"- modern film camera with classic lens Modern Pentax ZX-5 (AF went south several years ago) and classic SMC-A Pentax 50mm f 2 As the ZX-5 has the "crippled" K mount it will only meter properly with A series lenses and later. Undecided on what film to run though it just yet.
Mike Gammill
Also bringing this one along on some of my outings, Likely this camera will get the first roll of Ilford Pan F+ that will be in my bulk loader soon. The Sigma Super Wide II 24mm is one of my favorite wide angle lenses.

The Sigma Super Wide II 24mm is one of my favorite wide angle lenses. I still have a Minolta XE-5 and my old outfilt of lenses, sitting sadly in a cardboard box. It was a good camera when I bought it new in college.
Rick_van_Nooij
I got a roll of fomapan in the Reflex-Korelle II, but we're expecting a lot of rain this weekend. Might not have the chance to go out and shoot.
Mike Gammill
Hope the weather cooperates with you, Rick. @carbon_dragon- In addition to an XE and XE-7 (both look and work like new) I have a well-used XE-5. Except for the meter off by 2/3 stop (more or less) it still works fine. May run a roll of HP5+ through it after I finish my current film.
carbon_dragon
I used to love that electromagnetic shutter. Course I sold my SR-T-101 to buy it and I kind of regret that, but it's also too bad I don't have any kids of young relatives to pass it on to. At least the batteries are still buyable.

I love the shutter and the smooth film advance. In my college days my family's camera shop stocked the XE-5 and XE-7 along with the SRT 201 and 202. Before I bought a 201 from stock my dad would let me borrow the XE-5 from display.

Bill Bowes
Will have the Tu Tu's out this weekend. Both with 400 material. Aloha, Bill (A quick lesion in Hawaiian..Tutu means Aunt )
Niels - NHSN
Truth be told: The reason I don't do as much 120 as I'd like, is the pain it is causing me when trying to wind the film up on my Paterson reels. This recent thread inspired me to buy a pair of Hewes 120 reels and a steel tank. A stack of expired 400TX will be perfect for getting to know this new-to-me developing setup. The old 1937 Rolleiflex from last week was a bit slow to work with so this weekend I will give my battered Fujica GL690 a spin. Quite a bit heavier but the parallax corrected rangefinder allows for quick focus and composition. 5 Niels
m42dave
Over this past winter and spring, I sold off quite a bit of gear and put the proceeds towards three West German screw-mount SLR that were on my list: a Zeiss Ikon Icarex 35S TM, an Edixa-Mat Reflex Mod. B-L, and an uncommon Kalimar Regula Reflex 2000 CTL. The Icarex and Regula have been tested, with sample photos to be posted in the upcoming weekly threads. The Edixa will have to wait for now as it's just been too hot outside to do much picture-taking. Edited August 21, 2020 by m42dave
rick_drawbridge
It occurred to me the other day that I'd never used the 30mm Meyer-Optik Gorlitz "Lydith" f/3.5 lens on a film camera. I've used it on the digital cameras frequently, but with a manually operated diaphragm it's rather a clumsy procedure, slow and imprecise on a film camera. However, I fitted it to a Praktica MTL3, and now there's a film waiting to be developed. We shall see...

Growing up in a family with a camera store would be like growing up in a candy shop (but with fewer calories). Yes, we opened in 1974 and closed in 1993. Those were days. Getting film at cost was a nice perk too. We didn't sell Kodachrome 25 as fast as we hoped so my dad would give me expired rolls. Always fun to be there whenever a sales rep from various companies would visit. The Minolta rep (around 1980) brought samples of Rokkor lenses from 7.5 fisheye up to 500mm mirror and let me take a photo through each lens.
Rick_van_Nooij
After having played with some MF over the last couple of weeks it's back to 35mm film. No weekend plans yet, but the Leica III with this 28mm f/3.5 Komura lens and some Agfa APX 100 is ready for it. Now with matching viewfinder, a gift from the same guy who gave me the lens, for cleaning and repairing some of his cameras.

carbon_dragon
This is what I have used recently (mostly around the house). Today was SO humid after our rain over the last few days. Luckily we're a bit north of the twin hurricanes. Leica M10 with the 90/2 Summicron and the 7Artisans 50/1.1. Taken with my iPhone 6sPlus.
