Upload of photos - Forum No words

Recommended Posts

When I upload photos to "No Word", I use More Options, which allows me to receive notifications. However, I assume I am missing something, as I am requested to write a text, which appear just above the photo after upload, and I am obviously the only one showing a text in a No Word forum !!!

What do I wrong?

I just uploaded the above image using the following procedure:

1. I clicked my cursor into the dialogue box.

2. I clicked on the "upload a file" button.

3. I selected the "choose file" button in the pop-up menu box.

4. I navigated to my pictures folder on my computer and double-clicked on this image.

5. After the image finished uploading to PNet I clicked on the "full image" button.

6. I clicked on the "post reply" button.

Done! Not sure why this procedure would not have the same results for anyone else, as it's been working for me for years. No text required to be entered, though it can be entered either or both before and after the image is placed in the dialogue box.

I usually post a picture with or without text as David describes, then click on "edit" at the bottom and use "more options" to add more pictures, add to or edit the text. Probably requesting notifications could also then be done. I crop pictures to no more than 1000 pixels. Edited by John Seaman

now I am one among many again

I'm glad it worked. One other option for threads where multiple images are allowed: follow steps 2-3-4 for every image you want as part of your post. The images will show up in the space below the working dialogue box. Type your message(s), using the "full image" button to place selected images within the text of your post. The image will be inserted into the post at the location of your cursor when the "full image" button is clicked. You can use this process to create an illustrated story with images placed in various locations relative to the text. Works just as well for one image as for many.
