Problems with changing my avatar and my biography-text

When I go into my account and upload a new Avatar, it does not change the image completely. Often the old avatar is still shown. And somtimes not. And if I go to "Account Details" and try to change my text in “Your Biography”. The old text still keeps appearing. How to fix that?

I'm just curious. This has been an issue for a year and a half, since the redesign of PN. Is this the first you're hearing of it?

Fred G.: For my part this is the first time i stumble upon the issue. Partly because it is the first time I try to change my avatar picture and biography-text and partly because I am not a particularly avid reader of forum posts.

Philip, I figured that might be the case with you. Others have been experiencing it since the inception of PN2.0 a year and a half ago, and the point’s been made over and over again in a number of threads. The response, “I’ll check it out” made me wonder if this is the first its being checked out and if tech support had been made aware of this problem before.

Under the old P.net system, it usually took a fair amount of time (several days even) for changes of these kinds to "kick in".

i don’t think so. my current avatar (i hate that word*) , in the forums, is of a clueless moron whereas my avatar in my portfolio is an abstract photo of naked dancing girls. I changed the latter a few months ago.
