Bill Bowes Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 The last few weeks have been over at the Dark Side with a "new" XE-1. . all was not lost, as the Jupiter-8 & MD mount 50 or 135mm lenses have been used, in addition to the "nice" XC 16-50mm kit lens. The Vivitar lens is stuck at f2 but I didn't realize it when I was taking photos. I will develop it later this morning. Mike Gammill Posted February 20, 2018 Author Share Posted February 20, 2018 Aperture mechanism has indeed failed in the Vivitar 24mm. I did get some photos from the Rollei 35 though. The Vivitar wasn't my only 24 as I also have a Sigma and a Tamron as well as Rokkor -X 24-50 zoom. Should have scans in time for start of next weekly thread. For traveling light I might run a roll through my Yashica FX-3 2000 with Carl Zeiss 45mm f2.8. And started a new roll of HP5+ in the Rollei 35. Processed negatives yesterday afternoon.
