<p>Hello everyone. I spent an hour or so doing a DIY range finder "recalibration" on my Red Fed-3 before taking this series (2 36x rolls) and noticed an instant improvement in focusing. The neg on this frame, at a 11x14 scaled enlargement, will show the fiberglass weave under the black gel coat of the Orca sculptor . . . now that is sharp! I think the FSU optics are underrated at best. Red Fed-3 & n-61, G filter, 400Tmax @ 200asa, Obsidian Aqua & V800 scan. Bill</p><div></div>

<p>Here's one from the untried Praktica BMS with the 50mm Prakticar f/2.4 lens that I featured in the recent "What camera are you using next weekend ?" thread. It proved to be a nice camera to use, and a very good little lens indeed. Arista EDU Ultra 100 developed in PMK Pyro.</p><div></div>

Following on wth the "Brick" I aquired one while on my US visit as a present for a good friend. She likes film a lot and

when I first met her, I told her this was the camera for her... so I took it out for a test drive before handing it over. This was

the Matchmatic with the Cintar. Which BTW I can not recommend as it uses relative numbers, not real f-stops and

shutter speeds. Better keep to what you know.. a regular black model for me!!<div></div>

<p>Finally gotten the opportunity to take the Contax IIa off the shelf again and wander about town. I wanted to see how the Nikkor 28/3.5 works on the Contax and despite the differences in the helical, I am happy to say that it appears to work for me. Though I didn't shoot anything that was both close up and with the aperture wide open where I am sure some focusing issues will pop up.</p><div></div>
