<p>Nikon FE (film), circa 1984, $10.00. Nikon 24mm f2.8 N.C. AI'd, circa 1973, $25.00. Fuji Velvia ASA 50. Metered on Auto through the FE for about a 3 minute exposure at f/8. Braced against my lens bag on the ground (no tripod.) No post processing. Taken in July in Chartres, France. This is old school Nikon, folks! Enjoy! ("No Words"? Whoops!)</p>

I thought this demonstration of shallow DOF was interesting at close focus and full crop.<br>

Got this with Nikon D200 and a kit lens 18-55mm zoom with VR.

Hmmm. Something went wrong. Another try...

That shot was too tall. Here's one taken at Grand Turks Island, the Bahamas. Same camera, but a 75-300mm zoom AF-S. The ship is Carnival's "Splendor" docked at Grand Turks Island.<div></div>
