<p>first surface mirrors are readily available from thrift shop polaroids, the ones that use SX70 and 600 film types. Removing them from the camera, cutting to size and reinstalling in your camera may prove to be a challenge. These mirrors also replace TLR mirrors with similar issues.</p>

rather then cannibalizing from old used equipment.</p>

<p>When replacing focusing mirrors in any camera or rangefinder the front surface of the replacement mirror must be at the same position as the original. Newer materials are thinner than older ones. Put shims between the mirror and its mount frame. Card stock makes good shims.</p>
