Girlfriend (or wife) vs. Photography

<p>OK, being the girlfriend of a photographer this is a tricky one.<br>

I am comfortable with my boyfriend being around girls. I am happy for him to meet models, do shoots with them etc. I go along sometimes, other times I leave him to it (I have a life too!) He also is so stupidly honest I get all the gorey details before, during and after his shoots anyway, lol<br>

HOWEVER...this doesn't mean I don't sometimes get a little insecure. I am thin, athletic, I'm independent, strong and intelligent. I trust him implicitly. But I still have moments where I get upset because let's face it, these girls are stunning. And he often tells them so. While I'm there or on his facebook. And no matter how secure you are, having your other half tell someone else how beautiful they are still hurts.<br>

I have said to him recently I want to spend 3 days a week apart so he can do all his shoots, editing etc when I'm not around, then spend the days we are together spending time doing quality things together. Not having to share time with his work. Not having him emailing girls while I'm sitting there etc.<br>

So yes, it's a tricky one. I'm happy and I love him to bits. But it doesn't mean I enjoy sharing him with the other ladies in his life either!</p>
