<p>Some very nice work again this week from each and every member. A few favorites so far that I liked: <br /> Jana, Love the shot and processing. If I may suggest, brighten her face a bit. Seems under exposed to the rest of the shot. Otherwise great work and fun pose.<br /> Rich, a big congrats. Beautiful!!!!<br /> Martin, very good. I love these shots that isolate part of a subject or item. Well done!<br /> Samuel, Very nice result from that lens. Well done.<br /> Richard, that is one odd looking bird. Kinda reminds me of the shopping cart bottle collectors, bags and bags overflowing and going in every direction. There's no grace to this creature but it is colourful. Nice pic.<br /> Dieter, Nice, Looks like amazing work. If you are in the area again take the shot from the top of the steps! The subject is the artwork.<br /> Robert, Beautiful scene.<br /> John, lovely looking spot and very nice shot.<br /> Panayotis, Beautiful dog and looks great for her age. Nicely captured.</p>

<p>Monday the family and I trekked down to Washington D.C. where my son's middle school participated in the (US) National Memorial Day Parade. The blazing heat not withstanding, everyone loves a parade, right?<br>

I have been out playing with my newly acquired F100 and I caught this shot on the hiking trail with a lot of bright natural sidelight and fog. </p><div></div>

<p>Happy Wednesday!<br /> l work with a bunch of usually reserved professionals. So Matt, not much color there - until one puts them in a 'photo booth' I had set up for a birthday party. Supply a couple of props and people reliably go crazy... :) and adults have tons of fun..... That if you get the kids away from it.</p>

<p>As I supplied a remote control to trigger the tethered D7000, I have to post one that I actually triggered myself..... :)</p><div></div>

<p>I went to the Memorial Day ceremony here in Milwaukee to pay my respects to the men and women that have served in the military and that are currently serving. </p><div></div>

<p>Just got a 24-70 f2.8 Nikon lens. Trying it out on various subjects. Sweet lens so far.</p><div></div>

Here is my contribution for today. Was taken at Fort San Marcos in the city of San Agustin, Florida. The infantry cannon belonged to Spain and was part of their artillery to defend the fort. </p><div></div>
