htarragon
Two shots of a small waterfall on the side of a busy road. Stopped on a spur of the moment decision. I knew the waterfall was there but had not planned to stop. While driving this road, I usually am just finished trying to see the large waterfalls on the other side of the road and looking for oncoming traffic. This part of the road had been washed out/underwater after Hurricanes Irene and Lee and had to be detoured around for months while being reconstructed. Fortunately the crews left several pullover areas. I will be returning for more shots of the area.
#1

stemked
Markus that is one colorful apple image!
Busy week. I couldn't find 1/125th of a second to do any photography. I did scan in some of my work from Minnesota though from a while back, all taken with Velvia 50, my LX or Super Program back in Minnesota. Fist a waterfall shot in Southwest Minnesota

Next a couple from Morris, Minnesota from when I used teach at UMM.

This last one isn't for the faint of heart. In the fall thousands of amphibians, notably Tiger Salamanders, show up in the fall. They get trapped in cellar window traps and turn into a amphibian slimy gunk, so I went around the neighborhood rescuing hundreds of them, moving them to a safer location. In addition to the Tiger Salamanders there are also a few Northern Leopard Frogs, and Canada Toads.

snik75
Markus I very much appreciate your ongoing vegan cuisine show. Yum!George and Dave have some nice looking flowers on this page, too, I love a good flower shot.

I got a K5, and I mostly love it. Looks like it will need a focus calibration, and I am not quite sure how to go about that under warranty. Still, very nice operation so far.
