<p>Keeping with the time of year, I decided to submit this experiment using a remote flash hidden in a pumpkin.</p><div></div>

<p>This was the start of the 2011 Mille Miglia tribute "race" in Santa Barbara yesterday. Of course I don't think pushing the car 1000 miles was a good way to start out. They are all driving north up the coast to San Francisco and back again. It looked like most entrants were raising money for charity. My son and I also shot some video here is a<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yf-oQRypyqg&feature=share"> link</a>. We are having trouble getting my 5D mk2 to match his 60d while shooting video so we can do two camera video. Much to our delight it was a very rare sunny morning in Santa Barbara. I had my ISO set to 800 expecting a normal overcast morning and forgot to change it. 1/200 f/18</p><div></div>

<p>Spent the early part of the week in lovely Chicago.</p>

<p>This is one of the glass domes in the old Public Library building. A true gem on the inside with incredible mosaic inlays, etc. Nearly opposite the 'Bean,' if you're in Chicago.<br /> Canon EOS 5D, EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS lens.</p><div></div>

<p>I took some pictures from the 36th floor of a apartment building yesterday, but because my vertigo (floor to ceiling glass) I forgot to look at exposure, all were overexposed. A was a pity because the view was beautiful. <br>
