Thanx, but, er, the boxers were Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott, it was 1953, when I was 9--somebody else took it; I didn't even know what a Graflex was. The pic is known as "The Punch". D.P. michael_mish Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 I am not entirely sure how this impacts the above discussion -- but Cartier-Bresson's <i>"Behind the Gare St. Lazare"</i>, which I really do think is a great photo, is only about 30% of the negative for that frame. <p>It may mean that the image we are presented with is the decisive 30% of the shot.
