1. Gary: I appreciate your orders and regret your dissatisfaction. On 03/21/23 we authorized and posted a full refund for 100% of the amount of the original purchase. Thank you for your patience while this was investigated and has been resolved.
 2. Web No: 1049685611 We received your order via our web site. No one looked at the shipping address and certainly no one edited it. We use the information the customer provides to us and the order is processed from computer to computer with no human interaction except that products are removed from warehouse shelves and placed into shipping boxes. The ship-to address we used was the one we received from you. During the order, before it was submitted you had the opportunity to review the order and make any necessary edits or corrections. When we received the order we replied via email with an order confirmation and asked again that you check the contents and contact us if any update was needed. The order was processed and the merchandise was shipped as the order was submitted to us.
 3. Web No: 1049091607 Thank you for your orders and this feedback. We regret your dissatisfaction. It is apparent the package containing your laptop was damaged in transit by UPS. We are sorry for their careless handling. I see return authorization has already been emailed to you along with a pre-paid UPS return label for your convenience. As soon as the return is processed here we will issue, per your preference, a refund or send another of the same model computer. For future reference, B&H closes at 1:00pm Fridays and is closed all day every Saturday.
 4. Why am I not staying logged in? Previously I could go for several days before having to log in. Now if I visit another site (without closing my browser) I have to log back in when I return to Photo.net. Ditto. Very annoying, made more so because when I come here and then log in, I'm not brought back to the same forum.
 5. I don't think raising the tripod's center column 6 inches will have a substantial impact on the angle of view. :)
 6. According to our site, the Tiffen MFR # 44CGN9H 4 x 4" Hard Edge Graduated 0.9 ND Filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch.
 7. IMO the FM2n and the 105/2.5 are two of the greatest accomplishments in Nikon's history. Real gems.
 8. If you buy a new one it comes with the Nikon CL-0715 Soft Case. Separately the case is <$13.
 9. It's a sad commentary on film photography but the B&H website does not list ANY 220 film options at all.

 11. Another Big Camera Store Fails: Why Are So Many Closing? by Phil Mistry, who usually knows what's what (and who was once a B&H employee). Some revealing insights here IMO
 12.

Do I just slap on the close-up diopters on

I'd worry about distortion with that solution. Close-up and telephone are not the same. No one wants to look like Jimmy Durante in a portrait.

Henry Posner
B&H Photo-Video

 13.
For "boxy type Hasselblads," the filter size was determined by the lens you attached. once upon a time many Hassy lenses used Bay 50 or Bay 60 filters which often required adapter rings. The Hasselblad Telephoto 150mm f/4 CF Zeiss Sonnar T* Lens for 500 Series Cameras used Bay 50 filters.
The Xpan 35mm system (actually a rebranded Fuji TX) used 49mm or 58mm filters, depending on the lens.

Henry Posner
B&H Photo-Video

 14.
You can use any brand softbox on any light source. To attach a softbox you either need a speedring whcih is designed to match your softbox to your light or you need a softbox like those made by Westcott which attach like an umbrella and do not require any speedring at all.

Henry Posner
B&H Photo-Video
