Nice scene. Very oversaturated colors.

Wonderful idea and execution. This couple is just fine, too, IMO. Well done.

I think it is called buffalo grass.

The image would be nicer if it were not tilted to the right and if there were more contrast.

Really very nice color, shape and texture. As to light, maybe the pepper on the left is a little cool. What do you think? Thanks for posting.

Interestingly different, moody image. Perhaps crop out the sky, to concentrate the viewer's eye on the stairs and rocks.

Cool. Go for the two point conversion!

Very compelling photograph -- nice work! FWIW, I do find the Photoshop work in the sky to be distractingly done, particularly the darkening in sky areas, along the tree and such. The texture visible in lighter areas appears to be from a less than skillful scan of a print, perhaps. I like the palette and the (apparent) urban waste message. Keep posting!

FWIW, my preference would be for a little more contrast and a more balanced composition.

It is a nice scene. Perhaps crop out at least half of the bush at the left, which does not add to the composition.

Nice shot of a unique location. But, my eye wants to follow those ruts and not look at the left and upper portions of the image. I saw the vertical shot you posted that shows much more of the jagged cliff edge, and I think I prefer that one. Anyway, you have some very nice images here, thanks and keep posting!

Great portrait. And composition. I think the reality of the skin is a key part of the impact of the image.

Yes. Great idea and I like the light, although maybe a bit more on the drooping old blooms. It might improve to crop out some of the dark area at the bottom, and re-shoot to have the vase on the vertical.

Great color and texture! You might crop out the dark edge at the bottom, which distracts my eye.

Well, you said to "feel free." I kind of like the bottle stand idea, but this image seems disjointed, like there's a window shutter and there are some bottles, and there's a corner of a room, but they don't go together. Perhaps isolate on the bottles, without the distraction of any corner or partial shutter in the image, or else rearrange to include the shutter in the composition. The light could better define the bottles. Just my two cents.

Thanks for the image, and thanks to the ANZACs!

Congratulations on getting there for the shot. Acrophobia or not, a little fill on the darker center would help us see what's going on better.

Grassroots on the beach?! Anyway, nice image! Perhaps also try it with the foreground cropped out, so as to concentrate the tye on the umbrellas and shadows pointing to the curve of the beach. Just a thought, it's nice as it is.
