  1. It allowed me to upload as usual in this thread, but this is what I get when I try on the No Words thread. Thanks for your help.
  2. Greetings. I joined photo.net earlier this summer and have enjoyed participating in the "No Words" thread. However, start a few weeks ago, if I click to add a photo in a reply, it gives me a popup for URL of photo rather than the drag/drop box or upload. Am I missing something? I can create a folder on my 1and1 account and upload photos via FTP to that and link, but it's much more time-consuming. Thank you for your help.

  9. The last photo of my mother and I together. Blackwater Falls, West Virginia. Sept 2017. We were talking one day and she said she had not been to Blackwater Falls for 50 years. I decided to take the day off work and we drove over and walked down to the falls (over 100 steps, and she was 85 - no problem.) I set up this photo on the tripod. Just a few weeks later, she was feeling ill and found out she had terminal pancreatic cancer. She died 5 weeks later. I have this photo up on the shelf.

  16. My dad's Kodak Brownie Target Six-20 camera when he was stationed at Barber Point Naval Air Station, Hawaii, from 1949-1951. It still has the "permission slip" taped to the bottom that has his name, rank, and permission to carry on base. Non-working, but one of the first things I would grab if our house was on fire.
  17. Fokker Triplane - Munich Technical Museum, Germany.
  18. I was a pianist in various US Air Force Bands including Concert Bands, Jazz Ensembles, Country/Rock Bands, and as a solo pianist. At the time, there were 13 USAF bands worldwide. Stationed in Virginia, Alaska, Nebraska, and Germany. I did this for 16 years and over 2,500 performances before I cross-trained into the Paralegal field due to hearing loss. Retired at Scott AFB, Illinois after 20 years. That's me at the piano. (Langley AFB, Virginia. TAC Jazz Ensemble. 1986

  20. Two big boy toys. Only one is mine. (The bike) Coming back from a camping trip, I stopped to see if the bike would fit underneath for a photo. Almost, but no.
  21. 1957 Moto Guzzi - Used daily. Caorle, Italy. Early 1-cylinder engine.
  22. Circa early 1960s. West Virginia. My grandfather working on the farm with Charlie or Bob, one of our two work horses. (Sorry - scan of water damaged old photo) BTW - They loved to be out in the field working. When we hitched up only one horse, the other would want to go along so much!
