    Gannets grooming.

    Thank you Giangiorgio, sadly not a clear view, ie foreground grasses but I took the idea that any shot was better than no shot. Thank you for your time commenting and viewing, I really do appreciate that.

  3. This is an amazing composition and capture, your focus goes straight to the subject and the ripples highlighted by the sun for me is the finishing touch, brilliant.

    Four Spotted Chaser

    I have spent a lot of my time photographing Dragonflies during 2018, I particularly liked the Bokeh effect on this one, although my main target was the four spotted chaser, the effect was a bonus if i'm honest.

    Taken at Bempton cliffs East Yorkshire. Gannets mate for life and this is what they do after the winter when returning to the colony at Bempton.
