I am a new member, just joined and I'd like to understand how things work here. I just perused "street photography" and see that when one makes a post with their image ie. a post entitled "Silhouettes"was followed by many posts of images by others of the topic but without commentary. So are you not to expect commentary on your posted image but rather the addition of images by others who believe their images fit the theme?

This is stunning to me. I live in Colombia and there is absolutely no risk whatsoever of theft or mugging when carrying an expensive camera in the principal shopping centers in the principal cities. In fact I sometimes visit "El Centro", the downtown area of Cali with my a6000 to take street shots and have never experienced an awkward moment. I am really surprised by this report on Santiago, Chile.
