I don't have this lens but I do use a tamron 90/2.8 and like you am frequently amazed at the detail shown in images. Macro is a great way to see the world around you in a different light. They are also good fun to take out into the garden if you only have an hour or so free and you would like to take some photos

Greetings from the southern most state in Australia. Tasmania or Tassie as most Aussies know it, although it is not uncommon for us to be left of maps of Australia. I primarily shoot digital although I do have 20 or 30 rolls of film in the freezer of the beer fridge downstairs. Looking forward to sharing knowledge and learning more about photography.
